Article 337: Failure to Render Aid to a Person Injured in a Traffic Accident

(1) The driver of a motor vehicle or other means of transport who injures another with that vehicle or whose injury s/he has caused and abandons that person without rendering aid, shall be punished by a term of imprisonment of not more than one year.

(2) Where grievous bodily injury or the death of the injured person occurs as a result of an offense under paragraph 1 of this article, the offender shall be punished by a term of imprisonment of between three months and three years.
